Vitamin E 5,000 pellets provide an economical source of dl-alpha tocopheryl acetate, when the diet is deficient in Vitamin E and is a good choice to help support the immune system in healthy horses. Often times horse diets are deficient when they do not have access to continual grazing on fresh green grass, or those grazing in winter pasture and/or fed hay. Vitamin E works closely with selenium to help protect the body from oxidative stress. Adult Horses (900-1,100 lbs): Maintenance - Provide 1/2 scoop (21.3 g) twice daily (5,000 IU total). Stress Periods - Provide 1 scoop (42.5 g) twice daily (10,000 IU total).
